Privacy Policy
Effective · September 16, 2026
AM Training collects only what is needed to book and run training sessions. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
Your coach sees what he needs to run the sessions. Other athletes only see your initials.
1. Who is responsible
Pewén Labs SpA, Santiago, Chile, develops and operates the AM Training app and is responsible for the personal data processed through it (the "controller"). Contact: contacto@pewen.dev.
Training sessions are provided by Ángelo Mendez, who uses the app to organize his sessions and athletes. He and the assistant coaches he appoints access athlete data only to run the sessions, as described in section 5.
This policy covers the AM Training app for iPhone and Android and the website am-training.pewen.dev.
2. Information we collect
| Account | Your email address, used to sign in with a one-time code (we don't use passwords), and your language preference. |
|---|---|
| Profile | First and last name, phone number, date of birth, category (youth or adult) and, only if you add one, a profile photo. |
| Parent or guardian | If you are under 18: your parent or guardian's name and phone number. |
| Training activity | Bookings, waitlist entries, cancellations (including whether they were late), attendance recorded by the coaching staff, notes you leave when booking a private session, and the notices the app shows you. |
| Notifications | If you allow notifications: your device's push token, its platform (iOS or Android) and whether you want session reminders. |
| Coaching staff | If you are an assistant coach: your role and the sessions assigned to you. |
| Security logs | Our infrastructure provider keeps sign-in records (such as time and IP address) to protect accounts from abuse. |
We do not collect payment information, health or medical records, contacts, advertising identifiers, or your location. The app doesn't include advertising or third-party analytics.
Device permissions
- Camera and photos: only when you choose to take or pick a profile photo. We only receive the photo you select.
- Calendar: only to add a session you booked to your calendar, when you ask. We don't read your calendar.
- Location: only for the coaching staff, to place a training field on the map. It is not collected from athletes and is not stored.
- Notifications: optional. You can turn them off in your phone's settings.
3. How we use it
- To create your account and let you sign in.
- To show you the schedule and let you book, join a waitlist and cancel.
- To let the coaching staff run the sessions: see who is booked, take attendance, and contact you or your guardian if a session changes.
- To send the notifications you enabled: session reminders, suspensions, and when a spot you were waiting for opens up.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and comply with the law.
We process your data because it is necessary to provide the service you signed up for, on the basis of your consent (or your guardian's, for minors) for optional features such as notifications and your photo, and to comply with legal obligations. We don't use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. We don't sell or share your data for advertising
We don't sell personal information, don't "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and don't use it for targeted ads. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out, although there is nothing to opt out of.
5. Who can see your information
| You | All of your information, from Profile → My details and your booking history. |
|---|---|
| Ángelo Mendez (head coach) | Your full profile, including email, date of birth, guardian details and photo, plus your bookings, cancellations and attendance. |
| Assistant coaches | Only athletes in the sessions assigned to them: name, phone, photo, bookings and attendance for those sessions. They don't see your email, date of birth or guardian details. |
| Other athletes | Only your initials in a session's list. Never your name, photo or contact details. |
| Service providers | The companies in section 6, only to operate the service on our behalf. |
These limits are enforced on the server, not only in the app. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of a person.
6. Service providers and international transfers
- Supabase, Inc. (United States): database, authentication, sign-in emails and photo storage.
- Expo (650 Industries, Inc.) (United States): push notification delivery and app updates. Notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Apple and Google: app distribution and notification delivery, under their own privacy policies.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting of this website. The website uses no cookies and no analytics.
Your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you are in Chile, this is an international transfer; we only work with providers that commit contractually to protect personal data and to process it solely on our instructions.
7. How long we keep it
- While your account exists: your profile and training history, so you and your coach can see them.
- When you delete your account: your profile, photo, bookings, waitlist entries, attendance, notices and push tokens are deleted from our active systems right away, and from backups within 30 days.
- If the coach deactivates your account: your data is kept so the session history stays consistent, until you ask us to delete it.
- Security logs: for the limited period our provider keeps them.
- Support emails: as long as needed to resolve your request, and no longer than 24 months.
8. Your rights
You can see and correct most of your information in the app (Profile → My details) and delete your account from Profile. You can also email contacto@pewen.dev from the email on your account.
Chile
Under Law 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life and, once in force, Law 21.719, you have the right to access, rectify, delete and object to the processing of your data, and to data portability and blocking. You can also file a complaint with the competent authority (the Personal Data Protection Agency, once operating).
United States
Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Texas), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to access and receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising (which we don't do). We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.
How we respond
We verify requests by confirming they come from the email on the account (or, for a minor, from the parent or guardian). We answer within 30 days. A parent, guardian or authorized agent can make a request on someone else's behalf with proof of authority.
9. Children and teens
Many athletes who train with Ángelo Mendez are minors, so we take particular care:
- 18 and older can create their own account.
- Under 18 may use AM Training only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The app asks for the guardian's name and phone so the coach can reach them.
- Under 13 in the United States (and under 14 in Chile): the account must be created or authorized by the parent or guardian, who provides the information on the child's behalf. We collect only what is needed to book and run sessions.
- Other athletes only see initials. A minor's photo is visible only to the athlete and the coaching staff.
- We don't show ads to anyone and don't build marketing profiles.
Parents and guardians can review their child's information, ask us to correct or delete it, and refuse further collection by writing to contacto@pewen.dev. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13 without a parent or guardian's authorization, we will delete it.
10. Security
Connections are encrypted in transit. Sign-in uses one-time codes, so there are no passwords to steal. Access rules on the server ensure each person only reads what their role allows. No system is completely secure; if an incident affects your data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll publish the new version here with its effective date. If the change is significant, we'll let you know in the app before it applies.
